Marc Tajchman

Research Engineer, PhD

Marc Tajchman holds an engineering degree in civil engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Bruxelles (Belgium), and a PhD in applied mathematics from University of Paris XI (Orsay), France. He joined the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) as a computer science and applied mathematics research engineer in 1999. He works currently on the development of the parallel version of the CATHARE thermal-hydraulics system code. Previously, he contributed to the development of Salome, a numerical simulation platform. He teaches parallel, multithreads (CPU and GPU), and hybrid parallel programming at the École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (ENSTA).
